Lynsey Hamilton

Mrs Lynsey Hamilton
B.VetMed(Hons) GPCert SAM, MRCVS

I qualified with honours from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2001.

I joined Cedar Grove in 2003 after spending 2 years at another small animal practice in Belfast. I was pleased to get a position in this prestigious practice and I strive to further improve the excellent client and patient care that Cedar Grove provide.

I enjoy all aspects of small animal practice but I am particularly interested in Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. In 2007 I achieved the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine (GPCertSAM) and I am keen on further education to continually keep up to date.

Outside of work, I am a member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (Northern Ireland) committee and as such help to organise professional development courses for vets throughout Ireland. I enjoy spending time with my 5 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and am a member of the Northern Ireland Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.

I have also rediscovered my love of travel with recent trips to Hong Kong, Australia and Alaska with a planned trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2010.

Sarah Riley MA VetMB Cert. VR M.R.V.C.S
Associate Veterinary Surgeon

I studied at Cambridge University and qualified in 1986.

I have enjoyed every aspect of my career path through farm and equine practice, gradually moving into small animal work.

While working in England I gained the Certificate of Veterinary Radiology and enjoy all aspects of diagnostic imaging from xray to ultrasound scanning.

I work with the Cedar Grove Veterinary team 2 days a week. Other interests include juggling 4 children and a farm.

Susan Cunningham

Mrs Susan Cunningham MA(Cantab)VetMB MRVCS
Associate Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Cambridge University in 1991. After a brief spell working with cattle in the Glens of Antrim, I decided that I didn’t have the circulation for the (fabulous) Northern Irish outdoors, and headed for sunnier climes and the RSPCA small animal hospital in Hong Kong.  I returned to Belfast in 1993, and have enjoyed being part of the Cedar Grove team ever since.

When not being kept very busy at Cedar Grove, I am kept even busier by four children, a wonderful recycled black Labrador, the world’s most tolerant cat, a very determined Irish Draught horse, two very patient ponies and a donkey who misses nothing.
