I qualified from Cambridge University in 1991. After a brief spell working with cattle in the Glens of Antrim, I decided that I didn’t have the circulation for the (fabulous) Northern Irish outdoors, and headed for sunnier climes and the RSPCA small animal hospital in Hong Kong. I returned to Belfast in 1993, and have enjoyed being part of the Cedar Grove team ever since.
When not being kept very busy at Cedar Grove, I am kept even busier by four children, a wonderful black Labrador, the world’s most tolerant cat, two very patient ponies and a donkey who misses nothing.
