Reception Services

All you need to know about Cedar Grove's reception services

The reception team is here to answer any enquiries you may have regarding the service we provide for you and your pet. We have a combined experience of over 20 years of customer care, and regularly attend courses to keep up to date with our knowledge on a wide range of subjects including, nutrition, preventive healthcare, neutering and of course client care.

All these things are some of the common enquiries we come across on the telephone, along with appointments and prescription ordering. 

Reception is your first point of contact when you arrive at the clinic and the staff are here to make sure your visit to us is as stress free as possible. We aim to keep your wait in reception for you and your pet a pleasant one.

The staff understands that not everyone has a pet that likes coming to see the vet, whether for a routine or unexpected visit. If you have any concerns about bringing your pet into reception, please ask us for advice.

Appointments

To keep your wait to a minimum, we use an appointment system for consultations. This means that our reception staff are expecting you, and the veterinary surgeon will be able to spend sufficient time with each patient.

Each appointment slot is for 15 minutes and would ask that every pet will require one appointment each. We ask you to be understanding when delays are unavoidable or if the vet is detained with an emergency case.

Please register at reception on arrival to the clinic.

Emergencies

Emergency Service is Available 24 Hours, 7 Days a Week.

In the event of an emergency with your pet please come to the surgery immediately during normal opening times. We will deal with you as a priority. In these circumstances it would be ideal if you could phone ahead and let us know the details so as we can be prepared for your arrival.
 

Out of Hours

Our out of hours service is provide by Vets Now Belfast and can be contacted on 02895 080115.
