Our latest update on Covid - 19

IMPORTANT UPDATE

At Cedar Grove we are taking Covid -19 very seriously. We want to assure you that we intend to remain open and to be a safe place for you and your pets to visit. We know this is a worrying time for all our clients, their families and pets, and we ask that you help us to reduce the risk to our staff and clients by adopting the following protocols when visiting the practice.

🚷 If you or anyone in your immediate family or household are showing symptoms that could be attributed to coronavirus or have been in contact with a diagnosed case, then we respectfully ask that you do not visit the practice at this time. If your pet requires veterinary care, contact us by telephone and we will assess the needs of your pet and will make every effort to provide the appropriate care 🚷

🖐 We ask that everyone visiting the practice makes use of the hand sanitisers and hand washing facilities. As we all know, frequent hand washing is one of the most effective measures we can all take to protect ourselves and each other.

With regard to social distancing measures we would ask our clients to respect the following requests

❗️ Please restrict the number of people visiting the practice to ONE person per animal

❗️ Where possible please use card payments and avoid cash

❗️ On arrival at the practice, let us know you have arrived either in person or using your mobile from your car - we then ask you to wait in your car with your pet until the vet is ready to see you.

❗️ Government advice is to restrict close contact time to less than 15 minutes - we intend to keep all consultations to a maximum of 10 minutes and we will need your co-operation to achieve this.

❗️ We will soon have video consultations available online which will be extremely useful for some conditions and follow up appointments. These should allow us, in certain cases to help your pet without you leaving your home. Our receptionists will be able to advise you about this service over the phone.

These measures are designed to reduce the risk to our staff and clients so that we can continue to look after your pets - please help us reduce the risks as much as possible. This is a rapidly changing landscape and we will keep you updated with any changes we make to our services over the coming days, weeks and months.

Thank you in advance for your support
